"Enter from stage right into the world of Western music, my friend and fellow artist, Mr. Paul Hendel. I first heard Paul a few years ago at a venue where he was doing some 'old country' songs and I thought, 'Wow, what a voice!' Though Paul's roots are country that sure don't make him bad people in my book and I am mighty proud that he chose two of my co-writes for this album. "I asked him a while back what made him decide to go "Western" and he replied, 'My wife Madelon has been a fan of Western music for years and I'll have to admit she prodded me a little. It was mostly though the way folks in that genre have always treated me so kindly. After I got involved I came to love the meter, the message, the morality and the poetry of western music as well as all those wonderful people that are doing it.' "Paul truly conveys those feelings on this album with his deep , rich and vibrant vocals that bring just a touch of his own 'Old country' style to each song. -Thanks Madelon for the prodding.
